Message From The President
As we seek to create lasting change in the mental health and healing of our rural communities, organizations like the Bluebonnet Counseling Association (BCA) are extremely critical. We are honored to co-create opportunities for mental wealth, belonging and inclusion within the rural communities that we represent. As we collectively foster a culture of resilience and hope, we look forward to partnering with you.
BCA covers seven counties that includes Bastrop, Burleson, Caldwell, Fayette, Gonzales, Lee and Milam. This expansive area provides a unique opportunity for collective progress in diverse communities across Texas. Following the guidance of the Texas Counseling Association, we plan to:
- Advocate for the mental health of all Texans and beyond;
- Create enhanced community collaborations;
- Promote the growth and capacity for mental health professionals, students and community members; and
- Grow our chapter to represent the communities of our seven county service area.
As we move forward to create a renewed vision for our chapter, we look forward to broadening our network. With a deep focus on equity, belonging and advocacy, the Bluebonnet Counseling Association is sure to be an innovator and leader within our profession.
