CE Approval Submission Process is Open for FY2027
Chapters and Divisions received communication about their approved dates and may begin submitting CE programs for those specific dates now. If you are planning to use a program that was approved for your Chapter or Division in FY26 before the 12-month approval expiration, contact carrie@txca.org to give her the program information. (Note that the only change allowed from an original approval is the program's date; the title, presenter(s), content, and CE credit earned must be the same).
Please email carrie@txca.org to request the date for your Chapter or Division BEFORE submitting a program. The dates listed below have been reserved for Chapter and Division events and are not available for selection:

- October: 1, 2, 9, 13, 14, 16, 20, 23
- November: 11-13
- December: 4, 8, 11
- January: 8, 13, 14, 15, 19, 21, 22, 31
- February: 1, 2, 12, 19, 26
- March: 3, 4, 5, 18, 19, 20, 26
- April: 2, 3, 9, 14, 16, 20, 23, 24, 30
- May: 20, 21
- June: 11, 12
Chapter and Division CE programs MAY NOT be submitted during the following unavailable dates. Staff are not able to accept, process, and coordinate with volunteers to review CE submissions during these specific dates due to peak work demands related to conferences and governance or for scheduled holiday closures.. Please do not plan for your events to be held during the following weeks:
- September 7, 2026 (TCA Office Closure)
- October 28 - November 20, 2026 (Annual TCA Professional Growth Conference)
- November 26th-27th, 2026 (TCA Office Closure)
- December 22, 2026 - January 2, 2027 (TCA office closure)
- January 21 - February 12, 2027 (Professional School Counselor Conference)
- May 31, 2027 (TCA Office Closure)
- June 14-July 12, 2027 Leadership Training and rollover activities for New Fiscal Year)
About These Programs
TCA co-sponsors its divisions and chapters by authorizing them to use TCA's continuing education provider number(s) so that they may offer a variety of CE programs and events.
All programs are eligible to receive SBEC, LPC, NBCC, LMFT, LCDC, SW, Licensed Specialist in School Psychology and Psychologist continuing education hours.
Applications are reviewed by a team of professional counselors to ensure the program complies with the criteria set forth by each regulatory body.
