TCA hosts several conferences throughout the year including our professional growth conference in November as well as our co-hosted conference, the professional school counselor conference in February. We offer sponsorship, exhibitor, and print advertising opportunities.

Held in November

This large conference regularly attracts professional counselors of all practices and backgrounds from across the state. Exhibitor and Sponsor registration will open soon. This conference will be held in Houston on November 19-21, 2025.

Held in February

This conference is designed specifically for professional counselors providing services in educational settings for elementary and secondary students and is co-hosted by the Texas School Counselor Association (TSCA) and the Texas Counseling Association (TCA). Our next PSCC conference is in Ft. Worth, TX on February 1-3, 2026.

TCA Membership eUpdate

The Membership eUpdate is the official newsletter of the Texas Counseling Association. Published monthly, it includes professional resource materials, messages from national and state organizations and agencies, grant opportunities, requests for proposals, professional development opportunities, legislative Action Alerts, as well as current TCA news. The Membership eUpdate enjoys a strong open rate averaging 42%, well above the industry average of 27%.
